A: There are many products that will do this, One that is free and effective is Audacity It's an audio studio that will allow you to edit your tracks, adjust the volume and balance and save to MP3.

I just set up ScribeFire to let me post to this site - and I spent a very frustrating half-hour because I missed a vital step . . .
ScribeFire is a FireFox extension that allows you to post to your web-site directly from your browser. ScribeFire has built in support for several popular blogging platforms but does not directly support Joomla.
This has been solved by a plug-in written by Justo DeRiviera - his instructions are here but they miss that vital step so I thought I'd re-write them to remind myself how not to waste so much time with my next website.

This installer is for Joomla 1.0.x I wrote a couple of PlugIns for sh404SEF (for Deep Pockets and for ChronoForms) and thought I'd post them at Joomla.org. However, to do that they have to be installable with the standard Joomla installers (rather than just copy the sef_ext folder to the site). So I've written a PlugIn installer for sh404SEF. The 1.0 version is in beta, and the 1.5 version is an alpha release. Download the Installer from the appropriate image link below and read more for instructions on using it. |

Q: I have a client who is setting up a PayPal account so that she can sell e-books on her website
A: AFAIK PayPal doesn't support autoresponders, they stay out of the fulfilment end.
While you can use a straight download link there is a potential risk of the link being misused. It's probably worthwhile using something that sets up one-off protected links for each sale.
If your client has their site set up on a CMS like Joomla or Drupal they may be able to find a plug-in extension that will support fulfilment. I have done custom forms in Joomla that do something very like this.
There are may PayPal fulfilment scripts out there for simpler websites. I've heard good things about E-Junkie who provide a packaged service for $5 a month for up to 10 products. I've also used Vibralogix'
LinkLok PayPal successfully - this costs a once-off $29.95 but you have to do more installation and maintenance yourself, any webmaster should be able to set it up easily enough.
